High School Districts

Such a brutal day of emotions yesterday at high school Districts. I think I had like 10 heart attacks, multiple shouts of joy, and several quiet moments of sadness as wrestlers who didn’t make it watched their seasons end early. My poor heart is exhausted. But the hard lessons wrestling teaches is why we do it. Over and over. Year after year. Helping to raise these kids into awesome adults that love and value hard work.

And now we go into what I always call “Bubble Wrap” week in preparation for State. Their goal is just to not do anything stupid and not get hurt 😂😂

And for those whose seasons didn’t end like they wanted…you already know our shoes are laced up the very next day and we’re always looking to put in some work. Pool season is just around the corner 😁😁
